Tante AnnePersonal music for care homesSide A: for residents · Side B: for the home

A managed service for care homes · Austria

Residents keep using their abilities and remain involved in everyday life.

Personal music is the first activity, on each resident's own tablet, kept ready from the care station. Three questions are enough to start.

The sleeve shows a still from the concept film. The controller in the film is not part of the offer; the tablet is.

Side A · For residents

Three questions, then music. The running time is the onboarding target: five minutes, with a caregiver or a relative beside the resident.

  1. A1

    What is your name?

Tante Anne greets the resident by name from the first moment. Nobody has to prepare a life story.

    Target1:30
  2. A2

    What music do you like?

Folk songs, classical, Schlager, jazz. The answer shapes the first music.

    Target2:00
  3. A3

    What do you enjoy doing?

Hobbies give the music a personal context that grows with daily use. Photos if they are at hand. Nothing is presented as a memory the resident has not shared.

  4. A4

    The first music

Residents listen, choose and shape it through simple controls, without musical skills. Relatives can add to the context if they want to. Nothing depends on them.

Side B · For the home

What caregivers get, what is in the kit, how homes pay, what the pilot measures and what we do not claim.

  1. B1

    The station tablet

Caregivers assign devices, start activities and see device status from one tablet at the care station. The resident's tablet stays mounted and charged in one place. No searching for equipment, no second charger, no interface to explain.

    The kit

    • Tablet with simple mounting, one per resident. Affordable, cellular, assigned to one person.
    • Station control tablet, one per station.
    • Software and a SIM in every device. Nothing depends on the home's Wi-Fi.
    • Provisioning, updates, replacement and support by Tante Anne.

  3. B3

    How homes pay

    • One monthly managed bundle per station: devices, mounting, software, device management, connectivity.
    • Minimum term twelve months, billed monthly.
    • Capacity packages S, M and L by participating residents. Bands are tested with the first homes.
    • The first pilot is mainly free. Paid continuation follows once the home has seen the value.

    The price

Open. We would rather print that than a number we cannot stand behind. A costed offer follows the pilot. Partner service terms are open too.

    What we will measure

    • Participation: weekly residents with a meaningful, voluntary choice, expression or contribution enabled by Tante Anne.
    • Mental stimulation: opportunities to use attention, memory and creative expression through active music.
    • Wellbeing: musical enjoyment and emotional wellbeing, reported by residents and observed by staff.
    • Total caregiver effort: device search, charger handling, steps to start, help needed and caregiver minutes, against ordinary practice.

    What we do not claim

Tante Anne does not treat dementia, slow its progression or replace human contact, staffing or professional care. Time savings become a promise only after they have been measured in a home.

Benefits are expectations until a pilot shows them. We count participation, not app launches.

Liner notes

Who is involved · What each side gets

Music is where it starts. The purpose is broader: residents choose, express themselves and take part using the abilities they have. The music reflects personal interests. Accessible choices support participation. Making music, even when musical abilities have declined, is mental stimulation that does not feel like an exercise.

The home buys. Care-home or operator management purchases one managed package per station and decides on continuation after a pilot. Residents take part. Older residents who need easier access to activities, including people with dementia, use it. Caregivers deliver it in the daily routine and keep devices ready from the station. Relatives may contribute preferences and context. Nothing depends on them.

A ready device in one place, one charger, and nothing to explain. That is what we promise caregivers. Whether it saves minutes, the pilot will tell.

For the home it is one managed service. The resident experience, the staff controls, the devices and the connectivity come from one partner and can grow across residents and stations. The first homes get the team on site for installation and onboarding. Remote onboarding and support follow once the process is repeatable.

Partners behind the record: pilot homes and care teams, hardware supplier and SIM providers, music technology and content rights. Communication features such as calls or video are later scope and not part of the first pilot. Tante Anne is a working name.
