Tante Anne

A managed service for care homes

Residents keep using their abilities and remain involved in everyday life.

Tante Anne gives each participating resident an assigned tablet with personal music as the first activity. Caregivers manage the devices from the care station. The home gets one managed service: device, mounting, software, connectivity and support.

Working model, October 2026. Final price and partner service terms remain open.

Who it's for

Canvas block · Customer segments

The home buys. Residents use it. Caregivers deliver it in the daily routine. Relatives can add what they know, but nothing depends on them.

Buyer

Care homes & operators

Home or operator management purchases one managed package per station and decides on continuation after a pilot.

End users

Older residents

Residents whose participation is limited because ordinary apps are hard to use or suitable activities are hard to reach. This includes people with dementia.

Daily staff users

Caregivers

Care-station staff keep devices ready, assign them to residents and help when needed, from one station tablet.

Relatives

Optional contributors

Family members and trusted companions can add preferences and personal context. The first experience works without them.

What each side gets

Canvas block · Value propositions

Music is where it starts. The purpose is broader: residents choose, express themselves and take part using the abilities they have.

For residents

Keep using your abilities. Stay involved.

Personal music, shaped by the resident's own interests, is the first activity. Residents can make music without musical training, through simple supported choices. The experience grows with daily use.

For caregivers

Less device and app friction.

A ready-to-use resident device with consistent mounting and charging. Simple station controls instead of searching for equipment, handling different chargers and explaining difficult interfaces.

For care homes

One managed service.

Tante Anne joins the resident experience, staff controls, devices and connectivity in one service that can expand across residents and stations.

How it starts

Canvas block · Customer relationships

The first homes get personal, on-site help. Resident onboarding targets five minutes and three questions. Remote onboarding and support follow once the process is repeatable.

Step 1

Set up the station

We install the station control tablet and the assigned resident tablets with mounting and SIM connectivity, on site, together with the care team.

Step 2

Ask three questions

Name, music preference and hobbies. Photos if they are at hand. Five minutes is the target. No family preparation is required.

Step 3

Play the first personal music

The answers shape the first music. The resident listens, chooses and shapes it through simple controls.

Step 4

Grow with daily use

The personal context develops through everyday interaction. Caregivers and relatives can add to it, when they want to.

Three questions. That is the whole setup.

Enough to make the first music personal. A complete life story is not required before first use, and nothing is presented as a memory the resident has not shared.

  1. 1What is your name?
  2. 2What music do you like?
  3. 3What do you enjoy doing?

What we will measure

Proposed value measure

The benefits are expectations until a pilot shows them. We count participation, not app launches.

  • ParticipationWeekly residents with a meaningful, voluntary choice, expression or contribution enabled by Tante Anne, confirmed by the resident or a caregiver observation.
  • Mental stimulationOpportunities to use attention, memory and creative expression through active music engagement.
  • WellbeingMusical enjoyment and emotional wellbeing, as reported by residents and observed by staff.
  • Total caregiver effortDevice search time, charger handling, steps to start an activity, help needed and total caregiver minutes, compared with ordinary practice.

What we do not claim

Tante Anne does not treat dementia, slow its progression or replace human contact, staffing or professional care. Continued participation is the purpose.

Time savings become a promise only after they have been measured in a home.
